Payments we accept.

If purchasing an item via website, PayPal is the default payment option. In order to use PayPal, you must be a registered user of theirs - a PayPal account can be created by any first-time user at time of checkout. This is a very straight-forward process.
PayPal allows your to purchase items via a secure-website and to submit payment via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express as well as UK Debit-Cards and also by funding a purchase from your bank account.
Clicking the "buy" button next to an item will place it in a PayPal-enabled shopping cart.

are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and PayPal are committed to protecting the privacy of their users. When you send or request money using PayPal, we never learn your bank account numbers or credit card numbers. We only see your email address, the item(s) bought and the send-to address. You can review PayPal's Privacy Policy for further information.
We can now accept paypal payments in US Dollars, UK Pounds, Euros, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars and Yen.

Alternate Payment Options:

US DOLLARS

Checks, cash & money orders in US Dollars are acceptable - if you add items to cart, you can print out that page & submit payment via the post. Alternately you can email us with your order & we will forward an invoice as well as our mailing address to you so you can send payment.

UK POUNDS STERLING

Cheques, Cash, Postal Orders and International Money Orders in UK POUNDS are acceptable - please email us with your order so we can convert it for you & we will forward our mailing address to you so you can send payment.

EURO'S

Cheques & Cash in Euro's are also be acceptable - please email us with your order so we can convert it for you & we will provide you with the total due & our mailing address.
At present we do not have a Euro-Denomination Bank Account, but are working on it - in the meantime we will still take any payments in the new currency of Europe.

OTHER

We will accept most world currencies in cash. If you wish to pay by a cheque or money order in any other currency (bar 3 above) - we are wiling to accept this - however sender will have to add a fee equivilent to $15 US Dollars) or £10 (Uk Pounds) to cover charges levied by the bank. We will also accept a bank-transfer, please email us for our account details if you wish to send funds this way.

Terms & Conditions

We aim to ship all orders within 48 hours of order confirmation.

Please allow 30 days from date of order confirmation to receipt of package. Reality is that most packages do arrive within 14 days worldwide - but we are required to state a delivery expectation by law - this is 30 days (See Below).

Full Payment is expected prior to shipment of goods - whatever the form of payment. Primarily we are a retailer not a wholesaler, and as such we do not offer any credit terms at this time. Special arrangements can be negociated and will be offered on any order over GBP £1000 (USD$1800) in value. We are able to supply pipe-bands with things like kilt-pins, kilts outfits, etc and any bulk order such as that - if you require such a bulk order, please email us first before shopping, any special terms, prices etc. that we will offer & agree upon must be done so before an order is confirmed & paid through the shopping cart.

For items shipped outwith the EU we are required to complete a customs-declaration as to the package contents. Customer is liable for any import duties that may be levied in the country of delivery.

Refunds - If you are not fully satisfied with any item bought through northofstandrews.com, we will refund the full price paid, or will replace the item. We operate a 30 Day Refund Policy for all items bought via northofstandrews.com. Refunds will only be issued when the goods are returned in the same condition they were shipped as - everything we sell is Brand New, so "same condition" would be no worse than "like new", except in the case of faulty goods. We cannot be held responsible for returned goods lost or damaged in transit

  • A Description of the Goods. - This is provided for all applicable items on either an individual page linked from the shop/sub-shops or right beside the product code on actual shop/sub-shop page.

  • All UK Orders are subject to 17.5% VAT, all other orders are tax free - Prices given on website are exclusive of VAT unless item specifically states otherwise. VAT will be added to all applicable orders at checkout. This includes orders bought outwith the UK but shipped to a UK address.

  • Delivery Costs - There will be no additional delivery costs unless you add express-delivery. Standard First-Class Postage (within UK) or Standard airmail-shipping, both via Royal Mail (UK Post Office) are included with all direct orders from northofstandrews.com - there will be no extra to pay.
     

  • Payment is expected by accepted means (see above). Upon receipt of full payment (unless otherwise agreed), goods will be shipped & should be expected within 30 days.
     

  • You have the right to cancel order within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods are expected to be returned in condition they were sent prior to a refund being issued. Buyer will be responsible for the cost of returning goods.
     

  • Prices are reviewed on an ongoing basis & may be subject to change, although we hope not to change prices much, if at all. (With the Exception of something as a special offer).
    All special offers will specify an "end of promotion" date.
    Special offers featured on part of site, may still appear as full price on main shop.
